Genetic Gains works with the New Zealand Boer Goat Breeders Association (NZBGBA) to record the animals in their registered flocks.
Each year before kidding, we email a numbered prelist to the breeders of registered flocks on which they can record all the kids born with their kidding details. We then create these animals on a database with their birth date and other details. Pedigree reports can then be generated.
Breeding Values for growth traits can be provided for breeders who would like this additional service.
The NZBGBA let us know when animals are transferred between breeders so that the database can be kept up to date with the current ownership.
